Due to our client’s continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Coordinator to join their Services team. Main Responsibilities: Working closely with the Services Manager you will be responsible to oversee fleet maintenance so as to ensure that the Company’s vehicle fleet remains roadworthy and presentable while operating within allocated budgets. This will be achieved through: · Understanding the Company’s fleet needs, planning and implementation of vehicle preventive maintenance programmes and VRT certification. · Ensuring that transport team members work effectively while meeting and complying with all Company and H&S policies. · Supervising, coordinating and prioritising the activities of employees in the Transport Section and ensuring that they receive appropriate training. · Monitor vehicle use and associated expenses. Requirements: · A highly organised individual with excellent negotiation skills. · Experience leading a team within a transport environment. · Strong IT skills. · Ability to work efficiently and under pressure. · An A level standard of education.
