Job Details:
Position title: Web Designer Department: Web Desk Reports to: Web Desk Manager Location: Malta Primary Duties & Responsibilities Assist with: · Creating front-end customer-facing user-interface designs and visual execution with attention to the user experience architecture and business functionality requirements. · Creating the company website(s) visual elements ensuring the graphical integrity. · Developing consistent look and feel of the user interface from experience and knowledge of UI esign and functionality. · Developing and design new concepts in line with Marketing & Sales Strategy (both online as well as offline). · Assuring design productions compatibility with technical requirements. · Reading and implementing user experience requirements and provide feedback. · Reading and implementing business requirements and provide feedback. · Researching new and emerging design concepts and implement as needed in projects Qualifications and Prerequisites Required core skills: · Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign). · Pixel perfect culture, paying strong attention to detail. · Global visual balance of any documents (font-size, margins, line-height, etc.). · Perfect technical knowledge of web and print document production. · Web usability culture. Desirable skills: · XHTML-CSS coding. · Designing interactive web and mobile applications. · Working knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery. Applicants Background: · A minimum of 2 years work experience. · Past experience working in the finance industry considered an asset. · Excellent experience with Web and Print documents. · Excellent web culture (Web 2.0 savvy and eager learner who stays on top of fast moving internet technologies). · Strong experience in web design. · Natural talent for design and the know-how of how to make things “look good”.
