WEB DEVELOPER MALTA Reports to: Web Manager Position Summary: Our client is looking for a web developer who will be responsible for developing innovative and reusable web-based tools for our growing online activity. You will be actively involved in developing web-based plugins and applications using the latest web technologies. The application fields that you will be constantly involved in are both front-end and back-end development, thus a solid knowledge of the entire web stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc) and strong experience as a PHP developer are a must. Required Skills: · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (related diploma over 2 years) · Strong PHP skills · Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, XHTML, AJAX and JavaScript · Excellent web culture · Solid knowledge of MySQL · Excellent Organisational and Time-Management skills · Nice to have: · Knowledge of Open Source Content Management Systems (Wordpress, Symphony-CMS) · Knowledge of XSLT · Good awareness of software security requirements · Fluency in French · Key Responsibilities: · Develop and extend web-based plugins for Content Management Systems • Maintain the company website ensuring the security and accessibility of the site • Implement new web applications and changes to existing sites, working with external partners and IT to resolve · problems as required • Ensure the informational integrity of the website • What does the company offer? • Above average remuneration • Challenging and very interesting projects • Flexible working environment • Friendly and culturally diverse team • If you are interested or know of someone that could be, kindly forward your CV in a word format to Krista Psaila on [email protected] or call on +356 27 204 518 for further information.
